Transforming a cattle yard
Mr & Mrs Wickstead wanted to stage
their Daughters wedding at home on their Farm. Set in the
heart of the Hertfordshire countryside with spectacular
views all around, you could not hope for a more ideal
setting for a wedding. Unfortunately, the only area that
could be used was the old concrete cattle yard which was not
only a very strange shape but was also criss-crossed with
drainage channels. After getting a rather negative response
from other companies Mr Wickstead contacted Garden City
Marquees who, always looking for a new challenge,
transformed the cattle yard into a stunning wedding venue
and contributed to the total success of a wonderful day.
Delivering a birthday dream
When Garden City Marquees were
contacted to make a little boys birthday dream come true,
they did it in style. Providing a marquee decked out inside
and out to resemble a Wild West saloon. Complete with
bunting, hay bails and even Cacti. It was the best birthday
party he ever had, and one I am sure he will remember for a
very long time
Putting
a smile on the face of some unfortunate children
When Lindt Chocolate sponsored the
children of Great Ormond Street Hospital to challenge the
world record for the largest painting by numbers, Garden
City Marquees were there to assist. Staged in London’s Hyde
Park, the event required the erection of 4000 square feet of
fully floored marquee and close coordination with the Park
rangers. The event was a total success and the children of
Great Ormond Street took the record.
Exhibition space in the car park
When the Stevenage Business Technology
Centre decide to stage the ultimate networking event their
first consideration was the venue. On recommendation, they
called Garden City Marquees who transformed their car park
into the venue they wanted. The venue was devided into two
connecting areas. One staging an Aerospace exhibition and
the second laid out for a networking dinner for 200 with
guest speaker Lord Sainsbury. It was a great success and we
have been asked to be on stand-by for the next one.
Vehicle
Launch
When Mercedes trucks at Wellham Green
decided to arrange a spectacular launch for a new range of
Mercedes Vans the called on Garden City Marquees to
transform one of their vehicle compounds into a “venue to
die for”. After close coordination with Mercedes own
Audio-Visual Team we were able to supply a stunning venue
for a fabulous audio-visual presentation. In there letter of
thanks they said:
“Would
we consider doing it again” ? - “Absolutely”
“Would
we use Garden City Marquees”? - “Without a doubt” |
